The next generation of the Vapor helmet from Black Diamond is even lighter, still well ventilated and as safe as before. The low weight is due to the multi-material mix of polycarbonate, EPS foam and EPP foam. In addition, a layer of super-light ALUULA composite material under the polycarbonate crown provides additional protection. The adjustment system can be easily stowed in the helmet for transportation. The removable and replaceable clips provide a secure attachment point for the headlamps when descending or abseiling after dark.
