Blasenpflaster Medium

Compeed blister plasters are applied directly to the treated blister. Hydrocolloid particles in the plaster absorb the wound fluid and form a protective cushion over the injured tissue for permanent pressure relief. The outer layer of the plaster consists of a semi-occlusive polyurethane film that allows excess wound fluid to evaporate to the outside and retains only the wound fluid required for moist wound healing. As a result, COMPEED® provides optimum conditions for rapid healing of the blister and reduces the likelihood of scarring. These plasters can minimize blistering, skin tears, friction from shoes and at the same time increase comfort through padding.
