The HMS Bulletproof Screw FG from Edelrid is an HMS hybrid carabiner that combines the advantages of a steel carabiner with those of an aluminum carabiner. The steel insert at the apex prevents premature wear caused by rope friction or friction from bolt lugs. The integrated wire bail also holds the screw carabiner in position when belaying. This prevents unfavorable lateral loads. The HMS is perfect for use with safety devices.
