The MSR Carbon Core peg kit consists of four ultra-light tent pegs and is ideal for harder ground. Each peg is shaped like a tent nail and weighs just under six grams. The pegs achieve this low weight with a carbon fiber core (carbon), which is encased in high-strength aluminium. The tip is also made of aluminum. The nail head made of high-strength plastic also has small eyelets through which a cord can be threaded. That's how light it is to anchor your camping tents.
