Free Rider 28

The Free Rider 28 by Ortovox is a well thought-out freeride backpack for skiers who want freedom of movement, safety and comfort on short, intensive ascents and technical descents. The body-hugging Clasp Back carrying system combined with the elastic hip belt ensures a stable fit - even on steep, rough terrain.

The variable volume is particularly practical: the storage space can be flexibly adjusted using the roll-top and side compression straps. An all-round zip on the back allows quick access to the main compartment. Other clever compartments: a separate dry compartment in the roll-top, a large side bag, a practical pocket on the shoulder strap and a valuables compartment.

The separate safety compartment offers space for a probe, shovel and ice axe - all well organized and quickly to hand. Skis, rope, helmet or ice picks can be securely attached to the outside of the backpack. For additional protection, the backpack can be fitted with the optional Clasp Spine protectors.

The robust ripstop material is PFC-free and has a water-based PU coating that provides additional protection against moisture and durability.
