The Peak 42 S from Ortovox is a robust alpine backpack with the Swisswool 3D back system with a shorter back. The back construction has Swisswoll pads on the full-contact back, shoulder straps and hip belt, which absorb significantly more moisture, dry quickly and don't feel wet - which means a dry and comfortable feeling on your back. The S model is specially designed for women and men with shorter backs. It not only has a significantly shorter back system, but also hip and shoulder straps that are adapted to the female anatomy. The shoulder straps are narrower and shorter and have a pronounced S-shape. The hip fins are shorter and conical in shape. The backpack was designed primarily for activity on alpine touring, so the main material used is a particularly robust, tear-resistant and durable nylon fabric. There are numerous well thought-out storage options for your equipment. The main compartment, which can be accessed via the all-round front zip, offers sufficient storage space with a volume of 42 liters. It also has a separate security compartment. Further storage options can be found in the lid pocket, the front map compartment and the zip pockets on the hip belt. There are numerous attachment points for your equipment on the outside of the backpack and you can also use the compression straps to attach ropes.
