Ascension links

The Ascension from Petzl is an ascender that allows you to ascend on a fixed single rope with as little effort as possible, whether you are on a technical route, on a big wall or on high mountains. As you would expect from an ascender, it is (relatively) easy to push on and then locks automatically. You can attach a self-belay device, ladders or foot slings to the various attachment points. The ergonomically designed handle is made of a rubber compound with moldings in the index finger area. The clamping mechanism has been designed to work even in rain and ice. Only the hard ones get high.
