Croll S

Designed for rope ascents, the Croll S chest ascender from Petzl weighs little and is easy to use. It was developed for thin ropes with a diameter of 8 to 11 millimetres. The stainless steel protection plate protects against wear and rope friction and the connecting eyelets ensure the correct hold during the ascent: the lower one ensures that the clamp lies flat on the chest after clipping in, while the upper one is used to attach a shoulder straps and holds the rope clamp in the correct position. The serrated clamping cam has a cleaning slot so that you can continue on even icy or muddy ropes.
