M's Explorair GTX 3L Jacket

The M's Explorair GTX 3L Jacket from SCOTT is a ski jacket designed for ski tourers and freeriders in alpine terrain. The durable, waterproof, and windproof GORE-TEX® performance fabric protects this three-layer jacket from snowfall, icy winds, and cold, wet weather, while its high breathability keeps you dry even during strenuous ascents.

The features are tailored for mountain activity: underarm gussets provide freedom of movement with every pole plant, and underarm ventilation zippers quickly cool you down during intense sections. The sturdy, helmet-compatible hood is adjustable and protects the head from wind and weather, while the removable snow guard, adjustable waistband, and adjustable cuffs keep powder snow out.

For storage, the Explorair features hand-warming pockets, a ski pass pocket on the sleeve, an internal zippered security pocket, and a ski goggle pocket with a removable goggle wipe. The integrated recco reflector improves your detectability for rescue teams when off-piste.

With a water column rating of 28,000 millimeters and a breathability rating of 9 RET, the three-layer GORE-TEX® Performance membrane withstands even long ascents and wet snowfall while wicking sweat from the inside out. The underarm gussets provide freedom of movement when planting your touring poles, while the helmet-compatible hood and sleeve cuffs can be adjusted to keep powder snow and drafts out. The three-layer construction is made from recycled polyamide.
