Pegs and snow - they don't always go well together. The SnowSand Anchor Set from SwissPiranha promises to help. These special pegs are made from a special plastic that remains elastic even at temperatures as low as minus 50 degrees outside and has excellent holding power straight in the snow, but also in sand. The material is also half as light as comparable metal pegs. Even when the warming sun hits these plastic pegs, they still hold firmly in the snow. The reason for this is that the sun cannot heat the plastic. The snow around the plastic peg therefore cannot thaw around the peg, as is the case with warming metal pegs, for example.
